A quick and easy trading card is just what I needed to spur me on. To follow along with this show, grab the following materials:
  • Several large images
  • Cardstock cut to 3.5inX2.5in
  • Gel medium
  • Paint brush
  • Scissors
  • Buttons
  • Ric rac
  • ATC stamp
  • Staz On ink

If you are interested in trading a card, please send me and email and I will get one sent out to you. I have five to trade!

Also, don't forget to check out the book Kaleidoscope: Ideas And Projects to Spark Your Creativity by Suzanne Simanaitis. I finished the postcard project and it was a ton of fun!

i just wanted to leave a comment really to say how much i have enjoyed watching your podcasts. my fiance knows how much i love crafts and knowing how bored i was going to be on the drive to our holiday downloaded all of your podcasts to keep me entertained! i was hooked!and mid holiday i was actually looking for duct tape to make him a wallet!(ive since made 2,while i was on holiday we dont have such pretty colours over here in the uk otherwise i would have made myself one!) its so inspiring!and im making things i never even thought about making! i especially love it when things dont turn out the way that you expect and you just eiher make do or start again!its so human and relateable! anyway i look forward to seeing future shows..

Courage And Inspiration

I love all of your podcasts! This is actually the one that drew me in, and I've watched all of them since then. You show how things actually happen when you're crafting, which is much more helpful than craft shows on TV. I appreciate how you say "it's okay" when things go their own way. Sometimes the best things come from serendipity! I'd be honored to have one of your cards if you have any left. Thanks for your work, and please, keep the podcasts coming. You've given me courage to try lots of new things.

Great Pod!

You did a great job on the podcast of the ATC! Loved the image you used for them too!

Trading Cards

I really liked how simple and easy these trading cards were. They were really inspirational and I must have made like 10 cards after I watched this video. Thanks! :)
