Duct tape wallet

Ok, so you have tried the duct tape purse but now you want a wallet. In this episode I will show you how to make your very own duct tape wallet. You will see that it is so easy you will want to make one for every person that you know. And, I didn't make the wallet outside in the wind so the video will be much more to the point and less of a comedy. So, gather up these supplies:

  • duct tape
  • rotary cutter
  • cutting mat
  • scissors
  • acrylic ruler

I have found colored duct tape at the local crafts stores. You can also find regular duct tape at your local hardware store. The other supplies can also be found at your local craft or quilting shop.

**Looking for the e-book for this episode? Well, look no further! There isn't one. That's the great thing about being your own boss and doing things "your way" you can change your mind when it pleases you. Well, after spending hours on the e-book (when I really wanted to do other things) I decided I DIDN'T WANT TO DO IT ANYMORE! Done. No book. Hurray, more time for crafting!**

duct tape wallet

My daughter and I watched your podcast on my itouch last night. Just found you and love the episodes I have seen. Can't wait to try the wallet. Do you have any way of putting a coin holder on instead of the card holders? Thanks again for making these podcasts available. I also love the monogram stamper set! Plan to order one very soon.

Duct Tape Wallet instructions

I just loved the wallet video! Do you have written, step by step, instructions, like you voiced over the video? or does anyone else? I'm a middle school art teacher, and I think the kids would love this. Because of the expense, we have only 2 self-healing mats. What other surface would work, and the tape be able to peel off easily???? Thanks. Susan

This is amazing

This podcast is amazing. I saw it on itunes and absolutely luved it. Its simple and great to hold money on the go.

duct tape

I saw the purse podcast first and then found the wallet podcast. I was so excited. I found colored duct tape at walmart and myself and my children (age 11 & 14) have all made the purses and wallets! These are so much fun.

Loved the wallets

I have a fifteen year old that thinks she's got to give a present to everyone that has a birthday! That gets expensive! And this will be some great family time together and we can make them for boys (oooooooooooooohhhhh--cooties!) and girls! Just kidding--she REALLY likes boys now--it's me that wishes she still thought they have cooties!

Love Your Podcasts!

Great Podcast

I was looking around for crafting podcasts when I found yours and I simply love your podcasts. They are easy to understand. I really liked the duct tape wallet podcast out of all the ones I've seen. Thank you for making such wonderful podcasts, I can't wait to see new ones that you make.

Thanks For A Great Podcast

I love the episode showing how to make the purse, so this is fantastic as well - TFS and Merry Christmas to you and your family as well! :D xx Chelle

Pink duct tape wallet

Such a cute project, Michelle - I was hooked as soon as I saw the colour! Thank you. I'm really looking forward to your lesson on making the soldered glass charms. I bought a book and all the supplies but was a bit nervous about actually giving it a go. I felt more confident after watching your previous podcast on making soldered charms but my little son loves to "help" me so there is no way I'm getting my soldering iron out while he is at this stage. (His current obsession is the dish drainer - it makes doing the washing up a bit of a challenge but I managed to get a good photo of him laughing today by putting the dish drainer on my head and then calling him when I had the camera ready). Thank you for deciding to share with us. Believe me, I'm no threat to your business as I'm in Australia!
