Cool Duct Tape Purse

In this show we will delve into the exciting realm of duct tape art. Is there such a thing? Ah well, we will start our journey with a simple purse. Who knows, maybe from there you will be inspired to create more. To follow along (and I think you can...) gather these supplies:

  • Two different colors of duct tape
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Rotary cutter (useful but not necessary)

Hey, it's the shortest supply list ever! Please note, I will be using colored duct tape which doesn't seem as sticky as regular duct tape. If you are using regular duct tape I am guessing it may be a little more difficult but certainly doable.

Loving it!

Love love love your shows! Really liked this project as anyone can get duct tape and get started. I hope to give it a go this weekend when I buy some tape. The music was really cute too, as it matched the style of the project. Also; I posted the first review on itunes, but it may only be on the UK version. I had to let everyone know how ace this podcast is :)) Christine Cowley, Isle of Man (British Isle).

Very curious indeed

I've always wanted to know how these were done and general web directions are hard to follow sometimes. Thank you for posting this and [basically] showing us step by step. You're not intimidating and I think that's great; it makes for projects that seem plausible. You're awesome, keep up the good work!

Duct Tape!!! Wooo Hooo!!!

I can't wait to get some duct tape and try this project. I have a feeling I'll catch the duct tape bug too!! I was thinking of maybe making these as Christmas gifts for family members. Also I thought maybe I could figure out how to make book covers with duct tape and give those as gifts also. Thanks for taking time to show this project. I can't wait to see what you come up with next!!! Ü Take Care. Syndee Ü

Handy Tool

Enjoyed the show. I've worked with duct tape some in the past and I can see that having a rotary cutter like that would sure be asset. :)

Cool Idea

What a great idea! My niece just moved near me and she would love to make this. Thanks for another great crafting idea! Smullis
